An ISO seal is a security seal that meets ISO 17712 seal requirements. Seal components can be selected depending on the technical vacuum requirements, e.g. bake-out capacity, outgassing and corrosion resistance. Both ISO-F and ISO-K flanges use the same Centering Rings.
ISO seals are rated to a vacuum range of 10-8 mBar. ISO Centering Ring are based on a Metal Ring with an Elastomer O-ring. Alternatively we offer Centering Rings which are made out of Aluminum only to have a full metal seal. Aluminum seals can only be used one time.
Aluminum seals advantages are.
Pressure range: High vacuum to 2.5 Bar
Temperature limit: -196 to 200 degree °C
No gas permeation
