Wire Seal Male Blank Flanges – Seal It Off, Your Way

Also known as blind flanges, these Wire Seal Male Blank Flanges are designed to securely seal unused ports in vacuum systems—or serve as a blank canvas for custom machining.

Available in sizes from 12″ to 27″ nominal OD (tube sizes: 10″ to 24″ OD), they use a 0.080-inch diameter OFHC copper wire compressed between a male and female flange to achieve an ultra-high vacuum seal down to 10⁻¹³ mbar, even after repeated bakeouts at 450 °C.

With no weld prep and no tubing bore, these flanges are ideal for:

• Sealing unused ports
• Future customization by users with machining capabilities
• Maintaining vacuum integrity in demanding environments
