Wire Seal Female Blank Flanges – Reliable Sealing, Ready for Customization

Built for precision and flexibility, our Wire Seal Female Blank Flanges are designed to seal unused ports in vacuum systems or serve as a base for custom machining.

Available in sizes from 12″ to 27″ nominal OD (tube sizes: 10″ to 24″ OD), these flanges use a 0.080-inch diameter OFHC copper wire compressed between a male and female flange to create a leak-tight seal down to 10⁻¹³ mbar, even after repeated bakeouts at 450 °C.

With no weld prep and no tubing bore, they’re ideal for:

• Sealing off unused chamber ports
• Custom machining for specialized applications
• Maintaining ultra-high vacuum integrity
