The KF tension band-clamping ring, crafted from stainless steel 304, is exclusively intended for use with elastomer seals and is also recognized as a tension band clamping ring.
When paired with a centering ring featuring a fitted O-ring, KF clamps facilitate the alignment of KF flanges. These flanges find applications in through- or foreline vacuum plumbing, as well as for basic HV chamber ports. The detachable KF connecting elements enable the assembly and connection of standard KF components, suitable for applications extending up to high vacuum levels.
