ConFlat (CF) flanges and fittings are designed for use in ultra-high vacuum applications. They are available in various sizes, ranging from DN16CF to DN350CF. CF flanges are offered in two types, namely the US and European styles, which can be distinguished by the number of bolt holes.
These ConFlat flanges are constructed from either Stainless Steel 304 or 316L material. The use of a copper gasket and knife-edge flanges enables them to achieve a reliable ultra-high vacuum seal. Furthermore, these fittings have the capability to withstand temperatures up to 450 °C for bake-out purposes.
One noteworthy feature of ConFlat vacuum flanges is their modular design, facilitating easy assembly and disassembly. This inherent flexibility proves advantageous for maintenance and customization of vacuum systems.
