Port aligners are typically mounted in front of a linear transfer mechanism to be able to adjust the final position of the sample manipulator. The three adjustment screws make it possible to adjust the 2 flanges in any direction. These port aligners have two bored through flanges, but as an option we also offer these items with tapped holes on 1 flange.
