Zinc Selenide (ZnSe) viewports finds application in infrared windows, lenses, mirrors, and prisms spanning a range from 0.5 microns to 22 microns. It is extensively utilized in Forward Looking Infrared (FLIR) Systems and thermal imaging technology.
Zinc Selenide exhibits low absorption and remarkable resistance to thermal shock. Additionally, AR coating for the 8-12 micron range is available upon request.
