Type C Thermocouple, this refractory metal thermocouple may be used at temperatures up to 2315°C. Because it has no resistance to oxidation, its use is restricted to vacuum, hydrogen or inert atmospheres.
C-type Thermocouple feedthroughs are made of: Tungsten 5% Rhenium (+) and Tungsten 26% Rhenium (-). Connector type connections. Air and Vacuum side Connectors are included.
This thermocouple is used in space vehicles, nuclear reactors and industrial heating. It is well suited for high-pressure research and vacuum furnaces.
Temperature range 0 to 2760°C
