Gloveboxes HEPA inlet filter is to provide a particulate-free internal environment. When atmosphere-sensitive procedures are complete, air from inside the box passes through a HEPA outlet filter and second HEPA or carbon outlet filter before exhausting via ductwork to the outside. The physical barrier and filtration system of these boxes protect the user from exposure to hazardous materials.

Glovebox Purifying Column Charge material is a mixture of Copper and Molecular sieve. This column charge material can be regenerated several times, but should be replaced if the Glovebox is not within its specification.

Glovebox traps are used to condense liquids before it enters the vacuum pump or the purification column.
