Wire Seal Female Bored Flanges are available in sizes ranging from 12 to 27 inches nominal OD for tube sizes from 10 to 24 inches OD. A male and female flange compress a 0.080-inch diameter OFHC copper wire to create a seal. This copper wire ensures a leak-tight seal at 10-13 mbar, even after repeated bakeouts to 450 °C. These flanges are manufactured with a weld prep and tubing bore, allowing for immediate installation on your system with no additional alteration needed.
