Weld fittings are commonly used in vacuum roughing lines on semiconductor process equipment and for forelines and pump exhaust lines in semiconductor subfabs.
Weld fittings are commonly employed in vacuum roughing lines within semiconductor process equipment, as well as in fore lines and pump exhaust lines in semiconductor Fab’s.
All tees and crosses are crafted using the pulled-port technique and full penetration butt welds. This ensures crevice-free weld joints and the highest level of cleanliness for Ultra-High Vacuum (UHV) applications. Weld fittings are readily accessible in 304 stainless steel, with select sizes also stocked in 316L stainless steel for enhanced corrosion resistance.
Tube Finishes
The standard finish for all weld fittings is tumbled; however, certain fittings are not available with the tumbled finish. These weld fittings undergo bead-blasting and are identified by a ‘-B’ suffix in the part number. Electropolishing is available on request for all weld fittings.
