Bell Jar Pyrex and Quartz
Made from Pyrex or Quartz to withstand thermal shock and chemical attack. The bottom of the Bell Jar is ground flat to accept an L-gasket for sealing to the baseplate. When receiving a glass chamber, immediately look for shipping damage. A crack suggests shipping damage. Standard diameters range from 10 to 18 Inch
Base Plates
Base plates come in a variety of sizes with smooth faced flanges to bolt directly to the vacuum pump. Standard base plates can be found in the section of the stainless steel and Aluminum Bell Jars.
