Metal Guards are made from mesh carbon steel with solid steel reinforcing bands at top and bottom. Each guard has tightening straps that let the user fit the guard tightly to the glass chamber.
The combination of glass chamber and guard can then be lifted as a unit from the base plate for maintenance or modification.
