Non-Rotatable Tapped CF Blank Flanges, also recognized as ConFlat (CF) Blind Flanges with fixed bolt holes, come with the option of either US or Metric-threaded tapped holes. Constructed from stainless steel that is resistant to corrosion, these vacuum fittings employ a copper gasket and knife-edge flanges to achieve a reliable high-vacuum seal. Additionally, blank flanges serve the purpose of sealing off unused CF ports.

Assembly instructions CF Flanges:
• Apply a small amount of high temperature anti-seize compound to the bolt threads.
• Check that both flange surfaces are clean and sealing edges are free from nicks and scratches.
• Use clean, lint free gloves, unpack gasket.
• Place gasket in the knife edge.
• Align the mating hole pattern and leak test grooves.
• Install the proper bolts and tighten hand tight. Check to see that the flange faces are parallel.
• Tighten the bolts 1/4 to 1/2 turns using a circular clockwise pattern until the flange faces are metal to metal.
