Hex head bolts and plate nuts are constructed from high-tensile strength stainless steel, with thermal characteristics that align with ConFlat flanges. Plate nuts center themselves over two adjacent bolt holes, allowing for tightening with a single wrench. These plate nuts are particularly useful for inaccessible spaces. The combination of plate nuts and bolts is employed for connecting a through hole to a tapped flange.
